LEB X TRIPPEN CHRISTO

In an explorative event, Trippen and Leon Emanuel Blanck combined their enigmatic minds to create a unique boot that celebrates the signature elements of the two labels.

The Christo finds its existence in merging the fundamental elements of Trippen – the shape of the boot and their iconic sole construction – with movement and asymmetrical lines, characterised by Leon Emanuel Blanck. Trippen is renowned for their distinctive and bold soles and uppers. We thought about giving their signature details an asymmetrical twist. The left and right pair are symmetrical in appearance, yet asymmetrical in line construction.

We had the idea of wrapping them – like the Arc de Triomphe that was wrapped by Christo in fabric. Concealed by a layer of leather, the LEB x Trippen Christo gives off an illusion of floating boots.
